I have had a lot of experience working with children 16 years old and younger. I have taught K-4th grade on piano and student 1st - 12th grade on violin. I have coached chamber groups of all levels of playing and I have been told that I work well with children from my own mentors.
I base my lesson pricing on a few variables. The private lesson price is a standard price for college students as teachers. This contains money for lesson planing time, sheet music fees, and gas money if I have to travel. Group lesson pricing is less per person because the lesson won't be as personalized. Virtual pricing takes out the gas money additive.
I base my event pricing on a few variables. The base price for weddings is $100. This can increase due to distance I have to travel, difficulty of music, and time of the year. This last variable can add up to $50 because of scheduling with other events. The same variable are for the ensemble with the addition of one more, finding the group. If the ensemble is an unusual format, the price will increase by $50 per person for hiring. The pricing for studio is standard. The only varible would be plus $20 for every hour over one hour I have to travel. If I have to provide my own recording equipment, it increases to $100.
I have a full single mic setup, looper, octave pedal, and amp. I have the ability to record at my home and send it to you, but the standard $70 rate still applies. I have access to LogicPro and ProTools (for DAWs) and MuseScore (for music notatation) if needed. I have a lot of studio recording and at-home recording experience, as well as a substantial amount of experience in music engineering.
